Hi Byron,
I use the exponential but i don’t think it would matter whether it’s simple or exponential.
Reason being is we are dealing with zones and not a specific level.
Nonetheless its great to know that it can be applied to options trading too!

Please, tell me why you say (at the end of the video) that when losses wil occur we will lose 1R? I ask because if I’m not wrong you said, that initial stop loss is 2R.

Sorry that I confused you. ATR and R are 2 different issues altogether.
I use 2 ATR to set my stoploss whereas 1R simply means the initial % risk of my trade.
