Before i talk about feeling like a complete idiot in trading, Let’s talk about a scenario,

You enter a trader.

Set your stop loss.

Followed your trading plan.

And you got stopped out. The next thing you know…

The market went back in your intended direction. BAM! – keyboard starts flying –

Okay maybe your keyboard didn’t fly, but your cat did (just kidding).

It’s not your fault, and I’ll explain why in this week’s market analysis.

  • Thank you Rayner.

We always have to put attention to those three things.

BTW, Last week I got stopped out on one of my trades, and I wish, if you please could make a post about, if there some principles that allow to cut trades right away, even it’s not according to the trading plan, or we have to stuck with them till the end.

    Have a good trading!

  • Hi Rayner,

Can i ask why dont you think that (on duration 7:20 of the video) the breakdown of resistance for GBP/USD at around 1.407 isnt a location which we can explore to short?

    Please share your views.

    • Hi Sylves,

I’m not keen in trading the break down as price has traveled quite a distance already.

I would very much prefer a consolidation before taking the breakout.
